My name is Marcel van Brakel, I would like to introduce myself as consultant for the industrial valve business. I would like to let you in on 30 years + of valve experience.

About Me



I have worked with valves my entire professional life.

When working as an end user in the process industry, I have operated valves, specified valves and have audited valve manufacturers world-wide.

When I worked in valve distribution I have sold valves from different manufacturers to a large amount of end users and engineering companies. Also I have been involved in marketing and product management of valves.

The combination of working on both ends of the market gives me an insight of what moves both the valve user and the valve supplier.
